Description
This 1985 Honda ATC 250ES Big Red was reportedly ridden for one year by the original owner, then put in storage, and was acquired by the seller in 2026 from the original owner’s estate. The three-wheeler is powered by an air-cooled 246cc four-stroke single linked with an automatic clutch and five-speed dual-range transmission with reverse. Finished in red over a black frame, the ATC features an enclosed driveshaft, a black vinyl seat, trail lighting, 9″ steel wheels, a telescopic fork, a ball hitch mount, a storage box, a thumb-operated throttle, and front and rear mudflaps. Work in 2026 included installing powder-coated front and rear cargo racks, cleaning and tuning the carburetor and replacing the petcock and battery. This ATC 250ES Big Red is now offered at no reserve in Wisconsin for off-road use only with a bill of sale.

The three-wheeler is finished in red with silver, white, and black Big Red graphics. Equipment includes a rear cargo box, a headlight guard, trail lighting, a skid plate, serrated foot pegs, a ball hitch mount, and black mud flaps. The seller states the front and rear racks are powder-coated replacements.

Silver-finished 9″ steel wheels are wrapped in Ohtsu H-Trak Pro/AM tires. Braking is provided by a drum on the front wheel and another on the rear axle. Suspension consists of a leading-axle telescopic fork with black gaiters as well as a rear Showa monoshock.

The chrome handlebar is equipped with black grips and switchgear for the lights and ignition, as well as a thumb throttle and brake levers. A keyed ignition and indicator lights are found above the top triple clamp. The ATC is not equipped with an odometer or other instrumentation, therefore total mileage is unknown.

The air-cooled 246cc four-stroke single features electronic ignition, an electric starter, and an exhaust system that exits below the rear bodywork. Factory-rated output was 19 horsepower. Service under current ownership reportedly included cleaning and tuning the carburetor and replacing the petcock and battery.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through an automatic clutch, a five-speed dual-range transmission with reverse, and an enclosed driveshaft.
