Description
This 1973 Jaguar E-Type Series III Roadster was refurbished and modified with an electric powertrain by ECD Auto Design before being delivered to the seller in January 2025. The car is finished in Narvik Black over tan leather and powered by a Gen II ECD Custom electric powertrain linked to an E-drive and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a black convertible top, 16″ wire-spoke wheels, Gaz Road Performance suspension, Fosseway Performance front brake calipers, power steering, LED headlights, a push-button gear selector, an ECD EV touchscreen interface, and Speedhut instrumentation. This E-Type is now offered in California with a Primecom EV charging cable, a top boot, build documentation, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Narvik Black and features a forward-hinged louvered hood, LED projector headlights, a tan leather snap-on top boot, and chrome bumpers with overriders. The black convertible top was replaced in 2025, and the seller notes a gap where the top does not fully align with the side windows.

The 16″ wire wheels are secured with safety nuts and are mounted with 215/55 Goodyear Assurance Comfortdrive tires. The suspension has been modified with Gaz Road Performance components. The car is also equipped with power steering and four-wheel disc brakes with Fosseway Performance front calipers and inboard rear rotors.

The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in tan leather that extends to the door panels, center console, and dashboard. Appointments include a push-button gear selector, a heater, a locking glovebox, dual USB charging ports inside the center console storage bin, and an ECD EV touchscreen user interface.

The 15″ mahogany wood-rimmed steering wheel frames Speedhut instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and an amperage gauge. An analog clock and auxiliary gauges are mounted in the center stack. The digital odometer shows 559 miles, all of which were added under current ownership.

The Gen II ECD Custom electric powertrain features Ampere EV Atom Drive System battery modules and was installed by ECD Auto Design in 2025. A 12-volt trickle charger is located in the front compartment. Warranty service on the battery was performed in April 2025.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through an Ampere EV electric motor and reduction gear assembly and a limited-slip rear differential.
